Taunton Deane Borough Council displays many pieces of original art through its Art Walls Scheme. Works hang in the offices, corridors and meeting rooms of Deane House (including the public lobby and public committee rooms). In addition a collection of pieces owned by Taunton Deane is managed by Somerset County Museum (currently closed for refurbishment).  If you would like to know about either of these collections please go to www.tauntondeane.gov.uk and search for the Arts pages.  Caroline Corfe, Arts Officer for Taunton Deane who can be contacted at  creative@tauntondeane.gov.uk is in charge of the Art Walls Scheme and can answer questions about Taunton Deane's involvement in the arts generally and can also advise about arts organisations in the county.
